Black-Tie Babysitting is DC/MD/VA & North Texas premier special occasion and events onsite childcare service. We are mom owned and operated business allowing us to better understand and know your children’s needs, and your expectations as parents.
We are committed to our tagline “rolling out the red carpet for your littlest guests.” By providing age appropriate activities with arts and crafts, children can enjoy an event specially designed for them. We promise that your child will be treated as a guest and not like coats left in a closet until it is time to go.
We have been in business since 2009 (forever in kid years) and have staff that are passionate about kids and really fierce SORRY players. While people hire us for various reasons, your event organizers wanted to give you a chance to celebrate and provide a special event for the kids too!

FAQ's
1. What do you provide for sleepy children at late night events?
Our services are comprehensive and we provide sleeping solutions such as pack n plays, portable cribs and beds. Due to liability issues we are unable to provide blankets however, we do have fitted sheets.
2. Do you provide food?
No, the host of the event provides food. But we are happy to serve the children food in a safe and clean manner. All dietary needs should be provided to the host ahead of time.
3. Can parents bring snacks?
Yes, you can bring snacks. All snacks should be in an individually wrapped container or bag labeled with the child’s name and the type of snack.
4. Do you provide services for special needs kids?
Yes, our staff has experience in providing care for special needs children. We have a suite of services specifically for our special needs children however, we need as much notice as possible so that we can prepare accordingly. For specific questions and accomodations, contact Hope at 214-450-1245.

Venetta Petties is the owner and Principal Planner at Pink Glitter Events. I had the opportunity to work with Hope and Black-Tie Babysitting at a wedding for one of my couples. They have two young boys and wanted to be able to enjoy their wedding day. I referred them to Hope and they hired her to babysit their two sons from 10:00 AM -12:00 AM on their wedding day.
Fast forward to the wedding rehearsal, their youngest son is a mama’s boy and was very clingy to his Mommy. I was concerned if he would acclimate to Hope, so much so that I prayed about it that night.

The Run Women's Conference was in it’s 7th year in Dallas, Texas. It’s a conference whose mantra boast “Get ready to run…run your life…run your business.” Dr. Cassandra Bradford puts together a supreme entrepreneurial experience with several speakers and workshops.
One such speaker was Dr. April. She is world renowned and passionate about helping working mothers of children on the Autism spectrum go from financial lack to financial peace. Typically, her father helped watch her three children when traveling for speaking engagements. This time she needed to bring her children with her. She contacted Black-Tie Babysitting and was able to arrange a full day of care for her children. They were able to stay just floors away in the host hotel for the conference. Romi, a popular Dallas wedding planner contacted Black-Tie in need of, “desperate professional help!” Her couple Perla & Mike were having a large multicultural wedding and reception at La Cima, a luxury city club.
The club is known for its spectacular views of the Dallas skyline and the Canals of Las Colinas. In addition, they have superb culinary creations. Sounds perfect, but the $80 dollar per plate cost made it out of reach for the couple because they anticipated 30 to 40 children guest in addition to their 4 personal children.
They needed an alternative so they could have their wedding at their dream location. With less than three weeks before the wedding Black-Tie was able to step-in and make the difference.
We provided childcare across the street at Aloft Hotel, the children were served pizza and had plenty of games and activities. The new Mr. & Mrs. Lee were able to save over $3,200.
